OUR STORY
Bushwick’s storied Latin American culture is alive and well at Arepera Guacao, a family-run Venezuelan restaurant serving fresh, authentic arepas near Maria Hernandez Park. The small ground corn patties are served with a variety of fillings, but the Pabellon, stuffed with shredded beef, white cheese, sweet plantains, and black beans, is a fan-favorite. Although shredded beef or chicken are typical arepa add-ins, there are a few vegetarian ones available with avocado, plantains, and creamy white Venezuelan cheese..
